Hey guys!
Our shoot was inspired by Ethiopian and Indian culture and to see how our conceptions of these cultures could look...
I am in love with the Ethiopian Hamar tribe's style of dress, with their layered jewellery and impeccably perfect colour coordination. In addition, the intricacy of mehndi (henna) and the level of creativity it shows, combining with the beauty in the detail of an Indian bride's wear, how could I not be inspired?
Plus I love styling, so if I see an opportunity, I will take it! Nevertheless, let's just say this day turned out to be so much fun, it brought back the bestest of memories from summer and left me nostalgic...Not to mention she (Ukweli Asintewa, cause she think she fancy) was on fiyaa!
Man I really miss care free days like those! Vacation where art thou?!
 Enjoy the post  :)

I decided that the neck jewellery should be layered, old jeans would be torn, dresses would become skirts and other DIYs I'm going to let you figure out, if you do let me know!!

Hey guys!
So now that summer is officially over why not end your last summer 2014 beach days in style?
To those who know me, will know I love to over-do lol...and well because I had the most perfect pair of heels that matched my outfit to a T, so I said why not wear 'em?
Nevertheless, I think it could be cute outfit idea for a beach/pool day as well, what do you guys think?

I'm wearing my Victoria Secret swimsuit, my top is from http://www.tillys.com/intl/variants.aspx?prod=205490100&ctlg=020_Girls&cid=1200&intl=1 and my pants are Forever 21. My shoes were bought at a flea market and my head chain was bought from Barbadian designer, artist and many other things - Cherise http://instagram.com/cheraccessories
Hope you guys enjoyed this post and had a wonderful summer! I definitely did!
However it's time for the long nights, the 'girl's night outs', the partying, the beach days and movie dates to come to an official end and for the stress and hard work to make their reappearance in my life. In spite of that, I am going to make it my job to go forward with a positive attitude and a determined spirit.

"And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.”  Colossians 3:15

 Hey guys!
Although summer is pretty much over...I decided what better way is there than to spend the last days at the beach!
My boyfriend (also my photographer now, oh the convenience) and I took a trip down to the West Coast, to this beautiful beach by Sandy Lane (a lavish hotel here in Barbados, to which let's say..I could never afford, lol).

My floral one piece just says 'beach' when you look at it, along with the chiffon maxi that I made a while ago ...and to make it even better the colours match my new hair.

Thank you guys for viewing and do make sure you get to the beach!
...if you can't beach it, pool it :)
Peace & love x.

I'm wearing my lola top which I absolutely love btw; my striped blazer and my pleather skirt from Necessary Clothing. I bought my shoes from one of our local clothing stores Nulook.
Funny fact: he actually fell down pretty hard when he landed..aha + I obviously think I'm gangsta so..
Have a great day guys!
- Love Mel x.

The top I'm wearing is something I made right before I left home, my H&M denim jacket, a skirt I made and hand painted a while ago; my Kenneth cole clutch bag and chinese laundry heels.

Hope you guys enjoyed,
thanks for viewing

Hey guys! I know I'm always doing this late posting thing...but one day I'll do it on a daily basis, I promise.

My top is from the local store Clothes When Open; my shorts are from local mall Sheraton and my shoes are Steve Madden. I got my bag from the online store Sammy Dress.

Hope you guys enjoyed a thanks for viewing (:

Hey guys! So it has never taken me so long to chose a name for a blog post lol, I swear I went through war to come up with the name 'All Things Red', as simple as it is.....I hope everyone is having a great summer; I definitely am!
To start off the beginning of my summer posts, I decided to post this summery look. It's so bright and bold, I thought it would be the perfect post to give my blog some of that summer fever.

The 'top' I am wearing is actually a dress lol, but because I can never wear anything the way it is supposed to be worn, I said why not! It is from H&M. I made the floral pants and I bought the shoes on ebay.

I am wearing my usual random jewellery and the shades I bought from a local vendor. I got my leather bag from http://www.sammydress.com/

Roses are red,
So is this post,
That did not rhyme,
I love you guys,

Hope you enjoyed!
So I'm back after what felt like wayy too long of a break... sigh, finally have some time on my hands..ish lol :)
Anyway this is a shoot I paired up with Deck'd Out Apparel on. It was an absolute pleasure working with these guys and super easy!

I'm wearing a T from decked out, my high waisted white pants from Moda Xpress, beige Steve Madden's and my usual random jewellery. I got some of the rings from the local store Nulook though.

Carlos, my partner for the shoot, was Deck'd Out in one of their graphic tees, chino pants and snap back. His shoes are neon pink Nike air max.

I'm wearing a Deck'd Out Tee, 'pleather' sweat pants I got as a gift. I think they were from local store Urban Vybz thoughhh.

I'm wearing a Deck'd Out Tee, a black & white striped jacket I got as a gift. I got my shorts from local mall, Sheraton (I can't recall the name of the store or if it even exists anymore) and I dyed the bottom of them blue.

Be sure to check out Deck'd Out Apparel on their website http://deckd-out.com/ or on Facebook @ https://www.facebook.com/deckdoutapparel
